For parents of students who are about to enter or have already entered Nursery class, they are often at a loss when their children are separated and upset, and they are unable to express their needs completely. Therefore, the Parent-Teacher Committee of our school has organised a seminar on 10 January 2024 to help parents understand the needs of their children in Nursery Class and how to adjust their own mindset and expectations, so as to help their children to adapt to school life smoothly.

The speaker of the seminar was Ms Chan Nim-chi, a registered social worker. Ms Chan holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Science (majoring in Psychology) from the City University of Hong Kong and a Master's degree in Social Work from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She has more than five years of experience in local infant and child development research, pre-school service and parent work, and is now focusing on the promotion of positive character education in pre-schools.
