In order to celebrate the annual Mid-Autumn Festival and to let the toddlers feel the strong festive atmosphere, our school held the 'Mid-Autumn Festival Lantern Party' on 28 September 2023. Teachers hung a variety of hand-bound lanterns with traditional Chinese characteristics in the school building, such as lively rabbits and sparkling goldfish, which were very much loved by the toddlers. In addition, children were introduced to the origins of the Mid-Autumn Festival through traditional Chinese stories, and watched videos of the Lantern Festival, Fire Dragon Dance and Mooncake Making. During the activity, children enjoyed the LED lighting, played with cartoon lanterns, and made mooncakes and lanterns together with their teachers in the darkened room, which made the Mid-Autumn Festival a lively and atmospheric event for teachers and students!
