To tie in with the theme of the K1 Class, 'The Princess is Sick', we organized a 'Food Nutrition Seminar' on 29 April 2024 for the K1 Class students. The speaker firstly introduced the structure of the digestive system to the children by using a simulated human organ teaching kit. The speaker invited the children to hold a small intestine prop to introduce the functions of the intestines and the children were very surprised by the length of the small intestine, and explained the relationship between a healthy diet and bowel movement; and then, through the animation, the children were introduced to the fact that probiotics in the intestines could help to fight against the harmful bacteria and maintain intestinal health, as well as interactive quiz games. The children were engaged in learning about healthy eating and even made thank-you cards for the speaker to show their appreciation.
